Do what you fear and fear disappears

Once Max didn't dance.

Then one day he got up and danced.
---------

You broke my heart
'Cause I couldn't dance
You didn't even want me around
And now I'm back, to let you know
I can really shake 'em down

Do you love me? (I can really move)
Do you love me? (I'm in the groove)
Ah do you love? (Do you love me)
Now that I can dance (dance)

Watch me now, oh (work, work)
Ah, work it all baby (work, work)
Well, you're drivin' me crazy (work, work)
With a little bit of soul now (work)

I can mash-potatoe (I can mash-potatoe)
And I can do the twist (I can do the twist)
Now tell me baby (tell me baby)
Mmm, do you like it like this (do you like it like this)
Tell me (tell me)
Tell me

Do you love me? (Do you love me)
Now, do you love me? (Do you love me)
Now, do you love me? (Do you love me)
Now that I can dance (dance)

  2. I lose no sleep over not being inclined, nor able, to dance.
Just like I'm not troubled overly much that I have no idea how to make doughnuts.

  3. ... and those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music. ~ Friedrich Nietzsche

Not that I am a huge fan of Nietzsche. I've just been waiting for the right opportunity to use the quote, which I like.

@ Soub: There are many ways to dance with another - dance floor, music or not ... the only thing you need to know about doughnuts is that they are deep fried. in oil. lard. or equivalent.

  4. I heard somewhere that Baptists never make love standing up. They are afraid someone will burst in on them and think they are dancing.

    1. hahahahahahahaaaaa!

True story: I had a very Baptist friend when I was a teenager. We went to a church bonfire and burned all of our rock-n-roll records. (I only brought one to burn.) I never had a clear vision of hell until I went to church with her a couple of times. I was pretty convinced I was heading for hell.

Now of course, I collect tickets to hell.

Wow! There you have it: my current collection is made up of tickets to hell.

Boy, I'm really glad you helped me sort that one out, Max.
