Superb shots. I love the reflections in the water. I know we're supposed to be looking at the birds, and they're lovely too, but I find water mesmerising particularly with reflections. I could sit and look at it all day.
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful shots. The kids would love all those birds.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures.. but I especially like the last one.. very restful.
ReplyDeleteOf course you are also a photographer. I knew that of course. Beautiful shots. Is there anything you can't do?
ReplyDeleteWhy, it seems we share a common hobby, sir, for I too like to photograph birds.
ReplyDeleteAhem.
Yes I know all about you and your birds milord. One in the hand and all that.
ReplyDelete@A. - Thank you. Next time I will take a real camera. You are too kind.
ReplyDelete@Janet - Odd you should mention the kids. All the ones I saw there seemed much more interested in throwing rocks in the water. I guess kids get tired of birds in a hurry. :)
@Sage - That's my favorite too. The light almost entirely gone and just a touch of pink left in the sky. So cool. :)
@Ettarose - Hi stranger. Thank you. Lot's of things I can't do. Probably. :)
We don't get many geese in Miami. As a kid, I lived in Michigan. I recall running through the parks into the huge flocks like that just to stop and watch them all fly around. It is one of the things I tell my kids about from my childhood. They now think I am strange. Go figure.
ReplyDeleteExcellent shots. Remind me of where I grew up.
