  1. I wonder have they bought the puppy yet?

From a distance we've been watching what most of us consider to be something of a milestone in American politics. Historic at least. But beyond that, there is something compelling about Obama's personality that leads me to hope for great things. I wish him well, and his family, and that they don't merely survive the term in office but flourish.

  2. That's a beautiful picture. I'm doing the happy dance. I loved it when he told the girls they'd earned their new puppy.

  4. I wish him luck with what he has to work with. He will need it.

  5. What annoys me is how Barack Obama was on the cover of every newspaper here two days ago. Sure, most Americans perceive him to be "The Messiah" but I'd like to know what's happening with the UK recession.

Also, is this chosen one of yours going fix all that for us? Didn't think so. So he can keep his holier-than-thou attitude to himself. Damned cults.

  6. But if he's not too busy, he can get around to fixing my URL. I'm hungover and obviously incapable of typing. Again, I blame those damned cults.

  7. We shall see. I am a skeptic, but I wish him well.

  8. Relax Max, You needed to ask permission to use the photos of the Festival of the Cranes- ALL of the photos you used (the golden Crane scene, the cranes and light geese on the ground, the cranes flying) are all under copyright by the photographer, and that photographer is Not you.. You might have mentioned the Friends of the Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge web site at FriendsoftheBosque.org and the Festival of the Cranes, the source of the photos rather than just taking photos without permission and attribution. It is very upsetting and more..for a photographer to do this.
